HACFO HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES DIVISION
In our desire to see our people live a healthy and prosperous life, the Hausa Christians Foundation (HACFO) organizes Free Medical Outreaches and Primary Health Care Services, Health Education and Sensitization Programs and Rescued Victims Rehabilitation Programs in line with mandate of the Hausa Christians Foundation (HACFO).
Offices under the Health and Human services Division of the Hausa Christians Foundation include:
- Medical Outreaches
- Health Education Programs
- State Coordinators
- Volunteers
This division shall successfully plan and execute these major programs annually:
- Medical Outreaches
- Health sensitization campaigns
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, strategize and implement the assignment of the Health and Human Services Division.
- Develop and implement Health and Human Services strategy plan in conjunction with other Directors in line with and to support the vision and mandate of HACFO within and outside Nigeria.
- Identify communities and individuals in need of medical outreach and health education intervention and empowerment and recommend to HACFO on the right step to take.
- See to the establishment of primary health care services and the promotion of health education throughout the Hausa Christians communities and beyond
- Continuously identify and organize enlightenment and sensitization campaigns across the Hausa land that aimed at addressing health challenges and threats to the livelihood of our people.
- Promote and maintain cooperation between HACFO and other Christian health organizations in the Hausa land.
- Schedule, oversee planning and execution of regular meetings or events of the Division
- Form a league of health practitioners as well as maintain connection with Christian hospitals in the Hausa Land.
- Coordinate creative programs and community outreach.
- Plan and implement new programs targeted to mental, spiritual and health growth and development of our people.
- Proper administrative processes and procedures of the Division
- Identify the necessary areas and subjects and carryout proper research and documentations across the Hausaland with the intention of exposing falsehood, bringing the right knowledge and setting the narratives straight especially on the true history of the Hausa People group and Hausa Christians.
- Recruit with the Lead Minister’s approval all vacant offices, state coordinators and volunteers.
- Proper record keeping of the division
